The firm was founded in 1979 by Richard J. Engel, who started as a sole practitioner. In 1984, Dick Engel converted into office space the New England clapboard home on Route 7A in Manchester Village previously owned by Anna Buck. For more than 70 years she had been the town's librarian, and in her house we continue her tradition of serving the community. The firm now includes three practicing Certified Public Accountants, two of whom are CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certificants™, an Enrolled Agent, two tax preparers, and a firm administrator.

Through this diversity, we are able to offer clients a definite advantage in identifying and attaining their financial and operational goals.
